Job Description
As the General Manager for Around 'D' Clock Security Company Limited, you are responsible for the overall performance and profitability of Around 'D' Clock Security Company Limited by strengthening our customer base.
You will report directly to the President on a daily basis. Your duties include but not limited to:
- Managing the operations and the administrative department of the company all over the Federation
- Determining staffing requirements to include recruiting, reviewing job applications and interviewing job applicants, checking references, conducting pre-employment background checks, hiring and training.
- Establishing and implementing departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
- Monitoring all existing businesses to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of effective customer service programs in every functional area/department of the company, to include communication directly with primary customers and implementation of effective customer survey/critique programs. You must also Ensure quick and courteous service to all our customers by helping Operations Manager determine the customer's need.
- Reviewing, inspecting and observing all areas of facility operation for compliance with applicable policies, laws, codes, regulations, ordinances and directives.
- Assisting with implementation of effective marketing, public relations and promotional programs for Around 'D' Clock Security Company Limited.
- Recommending appropriate modifications and additions to personnel policies, programs and procedures to advance professional development and proficiency of the workforce
- Ensuring that managers are responsible for the proper operation of their departments, including the right to discipline employees within their own departments, as authorized by the personnel handbook.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative and harmonious working relationships with all employees, clients and the general public while displaying a positive attitude.
- Supervising and evaluating the activities of a wide variety of employees; properly delegate responsibilities to the appropriate areas, while maintaining accountability for the overall success of the Company's services.
- Establishing ongoing dialogue with managers and assure that managers have an understanding of employment, performance management, staff development, organizational development, retention strategies, and communications.
- Evaluating company development needs, and implement programs that address identified opportunities. Assure that all staffs are appropriately trained on job requirements of their respective positions and that leadership has the supervisory and management skills for current needs and future growth.
- Identifying strong performers that have the potential to move into management or to the next level of management and prepares them for such promotions.
- Implementing a clear manpower development program which provides continuous career progression to all employees in consultation with the Board of Directors.
- Reviewing and approving payroll and detailed timekeeping records before they are submitted for payment processing.
- Holding periodic informational or safety meetings with employees to establish strong knowledge among the staff and build a strong sense of teamwork.
- Responsible for overall management of equipment fleet.

| Education/Experience |
|
| Bachelor or Masters in business preferred, 10+ years Industrial security experience is required, he must have attained minimum of chief Superintendent of Police or its equivalent in the Armed Forces including leading teams, understanding of corporate security, thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. |

- Familiarity with security technology and emerging trends.
- Ability to work directly with internal and external client(s) to clearly articulate business drivers and business requirements

- Experience with developing measurable key performance indicators and delivering status reports, business metrics, and business plans.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to identify, define, prioritize, resolve problems and draw supportable conclusions
- Proficient user of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
- Knowledge of business operations management, human resources administration, and financial analysis
