Based in the South-West, you will provide the company and its clients with consistently high standards of Security, Risk Management and Client Service.

You will oversee Security Guarding management, staff training, risk management and strategic awareness coupled with all administrative and site management duties.

You will be tasked with managing a designated portfolio of contracts of up to 2,000 Security Officers, Site-Supervisors and Roving Supervisors, ensuring that they are trained to the complete satisfaction of the customer and management to fulfill each position and meeting the commercial objectives of all sites in the portfolio, and providing an excellent service to the customer whilst achieving budgeted targets/margins.

Work is performed both in the field and in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions from customer phone calls, Security Officers, Supervisors and Administrative staff. Work is also performed in all kinds of weather conditions.

As well as maintaining full staff levels on the site, you will be asked to review the performance of all staff members and make sure they are fully prepared to carry out their job to the required levels.

You must have at least 5 years experience of managing a portfolio of clients within the security industry. Membership of a professional body would be beneficial.

You will be tasked with ensuring the best possible service is provided to clients and that standard and procedures are thoroughly reviewed with improvements implemented wherever possible.

You will also be asked to manage and control the response to all incidents and ensure the deployment of staff is effective during any state of alert.

Candidate Profile:  
AN organised individual with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent OR 5 years experience in lieu of education requirements. Applicants with a combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be favorably considered. Must be an ex-officer with minimum rank of ASP in the Police Force or its equivalent in the Armed Forces.

  • Be able to communicate effectively at all levels across the business; with Staff, Contractors Clients and General public.
  • Be able to work calmly under pressure managing emergency situations
  • Be able to design and implement new security strategies and procedures, including providing regular Security advice and training
  • Be computer literate, with ongoing current knowledge of security surveillance systems
  • Be able to work effectively under own initiative
  • Be willing to undertake further training as required
